An affordable K-8 Tutoring Program
Our tutoring program seeks to increase the self-worth and academic achievements of at-risk youth and focuses on helping these youth achieve success in terms of completing homework, studying for tests, improving grades, and fulfilling other curriculum requirements.
Volunteer tutors are matched with a student according to the child’s needs and the tutor’s grade preference expertise. They spend a minimum of one hour per week after school, one-on-one, assisting with homework assignments, providing remedial activities and instruction, and fostering good study habits.
If you are interested in our tutoring program, please email Rebecca Freyvogel or call 412-366-1300 x.123.
