Habit #2: Trust Jesus

Today’s Exercise

Today when something bad happens, catch yourself before you groan or curse. Instead, pray,

“I trust You.”
Say it out loud.

To prepare your heart for the day, pray Psalm 23 out loud

The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Amen

    Merry Christmas from Bob and Kathy who are alongside you and Julie repeating that we “trust Jesus.” The gift of encouraging our Christian walk is your gift to us as Jesus is the greatest Gift ever to this broken world. Praise Him. Psalm 67.

      ‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus
      Just to take him at his word
      Just to rest upon his promise
      Just to know “Thus saith the Lord!”

      Thanks K&B!
