Your Turn: Rest

For several months now, I have been sharing my thoughts on Jesus’ core teachings. I would love to hear yours! (Share your thoughts in the box below.)

  • Do you think it is important to rest? Why?
  • Do you find it hard to rest? Why?
  • Are there any Scriptures that are meaningful to you when you think of rest?
  • Is there any art, poetry, or music that reminds you of the importance of rest?

Don’t be overwhelmed! Share as much or little as you like. I look forward to hearing from you!

P.S. If this is the first time you post to the website I have to approve your comment. It’s one of those annoying things that must be done to stop soulless spammers from taking over the universe.

Good Sunday morning, Tari and worked hard yesterday, packing for our move to Idaho. I got a bit short with her at times. Boxing pictures is not that easy to wrap, tape and place in a box. She handles it well. Today, this afternoon is time with the family- eat, swim and enjoy the afternoon. God is right, we need to rest in order to start up again. Enjoyed your camping trip, thanks again for taking us along.

LOL. Boy can I ever relate to getting short tempered while packing! How about trying to think of your big move as something to “enter into” rather than something to “make happen?” I’m working on this shift in my life.
