    Hi Maury,
We are going home today after 19 nights not in our own bed. Our solid and reasonable earthly hope right now is that as of about 2:00am Thursday morning we will be resting and sleeping in our own extremely comfortable bed. We have been looking forward to this one thing our entire trip.
Aside from this earthly hope, going into this trip we had heavenly hope that the Lord would serve and love and witness through us to our family. And I had a heavenly hope (strengthened by past experiences) that the Lord would give me insights and truths and examples and growth from the things we were experiencing here that would be applicable for a ministry I have at home and for life in general. HE DID!!! My heart and mind are so full right now and I know that He will is not finished. I believe the Lord delights in fulfilling both earthly hope and heavenly hope within the perimeters of His purposes for us. And it’s quite a ride being the passenger in all of this.

Nothing like your own bed, for sure! Julie, I just love the way you keep Heavenly hope in view through all of life. Rock on!
