I love this message! I, too, wonder when we became so polarized.

Question for your travel logistics have you heard or used Harvest Host? Have heard positive about this and very inexpensive. Bob

Yes! And thanks for the tip. Harvest Host is awesome. We hope to try it as some point down the road. We bought in to Thousand Trails which is also saving us a lot of money these days.

Isn’t that the truth, no matter who is in office we are disappointed. They just can’t meet our expectations, just like while we try to love like Christ. We expect something from those we are loving. Sometimes it’s just hard to sow those loving seeds when we get rebuffed. I know we just need to keep doing it, because it’s what we are commanded to do.

Right on, Sheron. I agree. Loving those who love me is a piece of cake. Loving in the face of rejection is another thing. It makes me think of Jesus’ words:

But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

It’s a tall order. Thanks for your thoughts and this reminder.
