Here’s the Easiest, Fastest Way to Let God Love You

Is your love for God a little stale? Here's a quick way to jumpstart it.

Summary

When you fail to be grateful, you shrivel up inside.

There is always a long list of things to gripe about. Sometimes that list is all you can see.

In those timesĀ especially, it is important to stop and be grateful for the things in your life you appreciate. This jumpstarts your faith like nothing else and reconnects you to God.

Today: Stop right now and give thanks for three things. Watch what happens to your heart.

Well said Maury. I have found much happiness in continually thanking God for all of the many blessings in my life that are so easy to take for granted. Each time I pray something like that I recognize all over again how much love God lavishes on us each day. I also find it provides an excellent hermeneutic (if that is the right usage of the term) to approach Scripture with. It seems to fix a lot of my misunderstandings driven by doctrines, dogmas, and theological bias that sometimes seem to completely miss some of the obvious truths of the Bible.

    Thanks again Maury.

How beautifully said, Bob! Love and gratitude as a hermeneutic for Scripture and life: Count me in!
