It’s Hard To Believe in God in a Manmade World

Revelation 14:8
And another angel, a second one, followed, saying,

“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great,
she who has made all the nations drink of the wine
of the passion of her immorality.”

just returned from the philippines a couple of days ago. what a country of contrasts. cebu is as you describe: fully hardscaped, and gridlocked with people and boxes. aimme’s family however lives close to the land in a rural area far off the main road where they raise or grow much of their own food. their church has no doors, windows, or electricity. until recently it had a dirt floor, and the only musical instrument was a homemade guitar.

I’ll take Aimme’s village and church to Cebu any day. It’s been fun to watch your journey on FB.

i should have added, they have no trouble believing in god. it perfectly illustrates your point.

How interesting. “Simple” people who live simply have a much easier time believing in God.
