Don’t Give up on Yourself

Jude 24-25

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
and to make you stand in the presence of His glory
blameless with great joy,
to the only God our Savior,
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
be glory, majesty, dominion and authority,
before all time and now and forever.

Thank you for the reminder about growth. I have been growing in the knowledge of the Word of God and Who God is in some very specific ways recently, and now I have the opportunity to grow by putting into practice that which my mind and heart have been learning. The acting application for this is through a recently acquired challenge in my life. Having God’s perspective and truths gives encouragement, purposefulness and strength in the challenge so it is possible to joyfully endure and even thrive. The result is that God can be evidenced and thus glorified through what He is doing. God designed us to be growing beings, so we might as well embrace and even rejoice in the process. What an amazing God we have!

Julie: I LOVE this statement: “God designed us to be growing beings, so we might as well embrace and even rejoice in the process.” Exactly so!

This message really speaks to me. I’ve been going through a rough time these past couple of years and sometimes lose site of what God has done in my life. I needed this to help me look back at where I was and where I am today. Thank you!

I’m so glad it hit home, Gloryann. I know what it is like to be in a dark place that seems to stretch on forever when it seems as if God had abandoned me and nothing is happening. I pray that God will strengthen you. He knows what He’s doing even when we don’t.
