Stop Spilling Sin on People!

And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”  (Gen 4:8-9)

Sin is messy business. Adam and Eve’s rebellion poured over into their kids. Their sibling rivalry resulted in the first murder. The blood spilled on the ground and the world has been poisoned ever since.

One very motivational reason to pursue a renewed life in the Kingdom of God is that a cursed life doesn’t just affect me. It affects everyone I love and sloshes onto the whole world. There is no such thing as “personal” growth. Growth benefits everyone. Foulness stinks it up for everyone. Like it or not you’re in it with me and I’m in it with you.

I must get on with the God’s work of redemption. Not just for me. For you.
