It Ain’t All Sunsets & Eagles

Psalm 139:7-12

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.

If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will lay hold of me.

If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me,
And the light around me will be night,”
Even the darkness is not dark to You,
And the night is as bright as the day.
Darkness and light are alike to You.

    Maury,
    Welcome back to you and Julie. Thanks for the devotion this morning. Mary Jane told you we are in Zion. We are in Watchman campground just inside the park where the mountains completely surround us and the horizon is not visible. We have had a few windy cold uncomfortable days. But all I have to do is look up at the mountains in all their glory to know that God surrounds Mary Jane and me. God is good, to him be the the glory, and God Bless you and Julie.

      Hi Dick! It’s great to hear from you. Zion’s definitely on our to-do list. It’s hard not to believe in God in Utah’s redrock country, that’s for sure! Hi from Julie!
